It had been a long time since Yoko had patrolled the streets of Kamina city. She had spent her years running away from any reminder of him. But now she couldn't run off again, return to her small island home. Yomako-sensei was abandoned. There was no way to return and assume the quiet life she had once had. She was needed here, in the shadow of the man she lost so many years ago.

Yoko stood, staring up at the disheveled statue that she now knew was carved by Simon's own hand. She still didn't have the courage to face any of them. She could stare a ganmen twenty times her size in the face and not shiver...That didn't matter. The battle was over it. The events were done, and now the universe was at peace.

Not that Yoko felt it.

She pulled her jacket closer, her head dropping slowly until she was staring at the ground. It was so quiet, it was eerie...

[ Surprised by the presence of her old friend! ]

A-Ah! Yoko-san? Why are you here? Did you disappear too not long after me?

[ OOC: Yes, you could keep it short like mine~ But descriptive replies are okay too ♥ ]

[ o.o I was under the assumption that posts would be longer... one line really isn't all that much to work with...]

Yoko turned around, staring into the alleyway behind her. She blinked, her eyes adjusting to the darkness before she realized it was the woman who matched the voice.

"No... I didn't." was all she could muster, the words falling to the ground, dead. She couldn't leave. Before, she had trusted the care of the new world to Simon and his capable hands. Now, he had left, his heart broken by the loss of the woman he had lost. He, Simon, always naive and trusting, left the care of the world in Rossiu's hands. A Rossiu who, after she had heard of his decision to sentence Simon to death, Yoko no longer trusted.
And now, all of a sudden, that woman was back.

Yoko had no idea what to do. What to think, what to feel.

She was empty again, just like before.

[ OOC: Then never mind my previous post, please. RP style changes now. Sorry~ ]

"Ah, then why am i here? Is this...Kamina City?"

Nia went from confused to more confuzzled with this current situation. She didn't know how to react with her sudden appearance out of nowhere to this place. Is it really Kamina City? Did someone brought her back to life with Spiral Energy...no, probably not. And especially not Simon because she believes that her dearest husband would be at her best interest to not bringing her back to life. Goodness! Could this be heaven and she is placed at a replica of Kamina City? Wow!

"Yoko-san, am i in heaven right now? Is this the place where the dead go to, like how i read them in books?" Nia continued, holding Yoko's hand cheerfully and energetically. Welllll, she might actually be stating that Yoko is dead and now inhabiting this imaginary heaven which Nia made up. Hopefully, she'll soon realize on the fact that it isn't. She truly came back to Kamina City.

Yoko was silent for a moment. She wasn't entirely sure what to say.

"No...It's not heaven." Was all she could say. Could it be, when Nia, an artificial being, didn't really die? Or did she die, and cause some rift in the space-time continuum that transferred everyone else to a pre-dimensional hell? The artificial universe the Anti-spirals had created had seemed so real.. but they lacked small, important details. So it made sense that this could be another artificial world. But, then again, there was pain, and if it was supposed to be artificial, it should be real.

"It's certainly not heaven, Nia-chan." Yoko murmured, forcing a small smile. "It's the same world, as far as I know."
